So if you're not subscribed to me on ff.net or AO3 (erm, and if anyone is subscribed to me on AO3, my profound apologies for all the random test-archive spam you may have gotten - there is a major deploy coming within the week and I've been rather busy with the testing, and the bug of notifications going out from Test was just discovered ^^;) - there are 2 more chapters of Tiger Hunt posted - it took me a bit to get back in the groove, but this is about the point it picks up again, I feel.

Otherwise I have succeeded in dragging more victims into the dark abyss getting a few folks into Homestuck, to which I can only say MWAHAHAHAHA TRIUMPH umm, sorry if you actually wanted to, y'know, do anything besides read webcomics for a week solid (but really, why would you?)

(Or you can be like me and put Descend (a.k.a. the end of Act 4) on loop six times in a row! And then boggle at the guy playing it on a keyboard by ear.) (Actually Umbral Ultimatum is what I've been looping lately - better known as the music for the animation of OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOD.)(Youtube dude plays that one too. Someone needs to get this kid a grand piano and a concert hall.)

If you're curious about fic, I've got bookmarks on AO3 (for a smaller fandom the amount of quality fic is seriously impressive.) If you love Karkat as much as me check out askvantas (Tumblr, I have discovered, is possibly more dangerous than Pixiv. If you are not careful you may lose several more hours to going through all the archives of certain blogs and wondering how squeeing over thirteen-year-old kids making out with six-sweep-old trolls is apparently now your fannish life.)(but come on, AWWWW!)(Though honestly this is the most beautiful JohnKat that will ever be.)(This is a close second.)

(John/Karkat is not in fact my OTP; my fannish soul continues to confuse and baffle by not offering me one. I love everybody and everybody with everybody. Especially if there are hugs. Need more hugs!)

Finally got a chance to read the update! Dave & Rose!!! And John - aaaagh I didn't get the suit myself until you pointed it out just now, even though I was guessing it might be a dead!John...well, umm, maybe they can live die happily ever after now? Or, er, umm...???!?!?

...am really hoping Davesprite survives somehow, even though he doesn't really look like he will, at this point...

And yaaaay vidlinks! sankyuu~! *off to watch* (had seen the Gamzee rainbow one before and yeah, hee~)

Dave and Rose!!! Their part seriously had me squeeing/whimpering (I'm not even sure which) all over. With Dave being all insecure and just wanting to get away from it all... And I of course Rose knocked him out with a ball of yarn which is absolutely uncool even if it's a bit ironic and they are so adorable in their never-say-what-you-really-mean kind of way and I'm still on needles about it.

And yeah, the John that Terezi tricked into going to the Denizen is the only dead John we have so far. But I didn't even think of it until I saw the suit and went OHHHH. (The humans have people on the "outside" as well. Heh.)

Davesprite is supposed to be from a d00med timeline, so he's probably not going to make it for that reason. But it was heavily implied earlier that he was killed together with Bro, by Jack. And that turned out not to be true, so I'm extremely gleeful to see him again!

Dave is starting to need a hug almost as badly as...um, everybody else. Poor coolkid who's getting tired of having to be cool all the time. (and Rose diagnosing him as antisocial was kind of cruel, if understandable, and at least it got him talking. I <333 their siblingness!)

Yeah, Davesprite is doomed-timeline, and besides we don't know what the sprites' fates are once the game is over anyway (none of the trolls have their lususprites anymore...) but still...if there's a way for him to make it...! (dammit why do I love Dave & Davesprite so much? ...oh wait, because I love everybody. For all my Karkat-fondness, seriously picking a favorite in this is getting nearly as hard as in OP ^^;)

I got the impression that the trolls' sprites were killed, but we don't know anything about it... It's been mentioned that they are dead (I know at least that Equius mentioned that his was), and I don't think that's a feature of the game ending by itself, especially since the trolls' session technically didn't end.

Hey, if the humans cause the Scratch and turn back time, that would make their entire adventure a split-off timeline, right? And they plan on surviving that, so anything could happen?

Also we may need a word "squimper" to describe the joyful agony that is...pretty much any Homestuck update XP

(and a word for when you're nearly in tears and giggling hysterically at the same time, which also happens to me not infrequently when reading...)

Hah, I just used that word over in your other post! Great minds think alike? And it's not like Homestuck isn't a series that keeps making up new words. ^_^

As for crying and giggling, would that be cryggling?
