on One Piece manga!

sara_tanaquil is holding an ongoing One Piece manga reread & discussion & squee-session over on her lj! Anyone interested is welcome to join in and follow along (either with the manga or watching the anime, or just joining the conversation.) She's being careful to mark for spoilers for future arcs, so if you're not all caught up or are reading for the first time, wade in without fear.

Every once in a while as I'm writing up notes I think about just how early in the series this still is, and how much doesn't even start to come up until later. It's kind of mind-blowing.

Oh, man. On the one hand, I really, really want to reread One Piece. On the other hand, I really, really want to reread One Piece in Japanese when I have lots of time to figure it all out. I also want to read it when doctorskuld has time to do the same. Now is not that time. But. But.
