A shiny new toy for all fans - The Directorium: a general wiki directory for all fandoms. The difference between this and most directories is that it's a wiki like the Wikipedia, so anyone can add to and edit it. Quite the ambitious project, but what a resource it could become. And it tremendously tickles my information classification instincts. Come, join the collective, make sure your favorite series isn't neglected!

A webcomic, El Goonish Shive, which is approximately as odd as the name would suggest. A strip in the CRFH mold, it begins with an apparently ordinary, likeable high school cast and lets the wierdness accumulate as it progresses, cycling erratically through fight-shounen-style action-comedy-drama scifi and romantic comedy of the genderbending and shapeshifting variety. And it's funnier and cuter than you'd expect.

And [livejournal.com profile] gnine's new comm, [livejournal.com profile] g_defend, for fans of Morimoto Shuw's ongoing yaoi epic G-defend. Never heard of it? Think FAKE, but near-future, with approximately six zillion times as many gay cops. And it's got Nishiwaki. I am so gonna read the series just for Nishiwaki.

...and from now on, when people ask "what's the appeal of yaoi, anyway?" I'm going to show them this sentence.

the best (worst?) part is, the zillions are hardly even hyperbole. 9 pairs and counting; see [livejournal.com profile] gnine's icon below...

The easiest way would be join the wiki, takes all of a minute to sign up and then you can edit any listings. If it's a multi-fandom page you might wanna create its own page to link to all fandoms.
Otherwise, just lemme know the new page address and I'll edit it for ya.

--also, glad you liked the end of B&D. ^^ sorry about the lack of nakama-hugs, but Zoro was complaining 7 Deaths had already filled his quota for the year...

Okay, I'll sign up. =D I'm just so lazy.

Damn that Zoro, I knew it was his fault!! ^^ Sorry for complaining, it's just that with the current manga as it is, I've become a total nakamaship whore. Any chance of hugs and I'm all over it.

Excuse my interruption, but in a strange and round-a-bout fashion I ended up on your lj via the Directorium through ForeverKnight. And so I must now say I DIDN'T THINK OTHER PEOPLE EXSISTED WHO HAD SEEN THAT SHOW. Well who'd have thought...

Ah, Forever Knight, where one learns that Toronto has more serial killers per capita than honest citizens. Actually it had a pretty big fan following at one time - there was a huge fic archive, don't know if it's still around. I loved it best for LaCroix....evil obsessive vampire master, mmmm...
