Twin Peaks fic

For the love of cherry pie, why is no one writing me Twin Peaks fic? Okay, so the series is going on 15 years old, all but passed into media oblivion, and the fan-writers have long since migrated to other series, leaving behind only stories fossilized in now inaccessible print zines, since their time was but the dawning of the Internet. But still. We're talking one of the worst cliffhangers ever inflicted on fen, with no canonical closure ever granted. I need fic. I crave it. I am given no choice here, people. Blame gnine for exposing me to begin with. "Oh, it's not a series you fan on, it's just fun to watch." But there's Cooper, J-chan. Cooper.

So. Fic. Gen, post-finale exploration/extrapolation, great big spoilers for the whole show (though not Fire Walk With Me, since I haven't watched it yet). In my mind the story continues, but that'd be several years down the line and require much more angst and plot and writing than I have time or mental space for.

Good will always triumph over evil. That doesn't mean it's a happy ending.

All I can say is "ARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!! Not another one!!" I refuse to read this. Refuse!! I was so hoping that re-watching Saiyuki with ASIC was going to inspire you to return to RtoB and other unfinished WIPs before you started in on more new fandoms. Alas!
Guess I love you anyway. **sigh** :-)
