Sep. 10th, 2003 09:38 pmI've been so good about writing regularly of late, I wasn't about to give up a winning streak for something so trivial as complete lack of inspiration. So yesterday I just wrote with no aim but the act of writing, and ended up with a fic so plotless and pointless I hesitate even to call it fluff. And about 5 pages longer than I intended, too.
A Thousand Thousand Years
It's GetBackers. Of course. The BanGin is devouring my fangirl soul. If the manga weren't enough, there's the anime. This final arc has been very frustrating, not only in how it's diverged from the manga, but how it's betraying its own storyline - where's my long complicated dramatic shounen fights? And there's no way they can wrap up everything--or anything!--in the TWO EPISODES they have left *sob*
But...but...Ban holding adorably floppy unconscious Ginji??? Doing nothing but trying to shake him awake and crying his name for over a minute?? In front of Kads & Juu and Dr.J, no less? Of course I melted - am I made of stone? Holding!
