Last (Order) and Lost

Final Fantasy VII: Last Order: Kicking the Last Square Centimeter of Ass that Advent Children Missed. Yow. So...so...pretty. True, not enough Reno. But Tseng...! Not to mention Zack! *fangirls madly* (Is that really how he died? Damn. Been a long time since I've played the game...)

And then there was Lost. So there's a gay fallen angel Brit named Desmond living in the hatch. Okay, that I didn't see coming. Awesome opening. And Walt's wandering disembodied in the woods and I forgot how dang creepy this show could be. Watching it alone at night, waa~h *wibbles like the wuss she is*

Jack is cute with shaggy I'm-younger-no-really! hair. I'm putting in my vote now that Jack's little chickadee died in childbirth. And if Desmond did help arrange her miracle, did he have something to do with Locke's as well? He can fix spinal damage long-distance? And the stupidest act of the night award goes to Jack for dropping the torch down the shaft. Where, for all he knew, Locke and or Kate might have been lying unconscious at the bottom of. Smart going, boy. Well, if he'd thought Kate might be down there, all right. But Locke! Don't hurt Locke!

Of course the most important questions are still unanswered. Namely, how did Sawyer survive and are we going to get Jin-Sawyer-Michael raft-h/c? Why hasn't the dynamite blown up Kate yet? Why was there only one Australian on a flight from Australia? And do the creators of the show actually know the truth about the monster, Walt, or the numbers, or are they just stringing us along?

After the truck, they run into the woods, and then there's a big ambush and Zax gets shot about fifty times.

All those other Turks were just added in Last Order (in preparation for Before Crisis), weren't they? I don't remember there being even a mention of other Turks in FF7, and no one besides the main four appears on the Shinra hierarchy graphic I've got... I'm just trying to remember if there were supposed to be more who just weren't important to the story in FF7, or they're being added now.

Jack is cute with shaggy I'm-younger-no-really! hair. I'm with you there -- *nod nod* I never thought of Jack as hot (I mean, compared to Sawyer? How could he match up? XD) but with that hair...I was sold.

I'm putting in my vote now that Jack's little chickadee died in childbirth. I think she's dead, too...but aethrin made a convincing argument for divorce, so....haha...I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Jack's never been that hard on the eyes, but compared to Sawyer (aaaaah Sawyer...), or Sayid, or Jin in the last few eps, when the producers finally realized that women do in fact go for the Asian guys as well...nah, no contest. but FlashBackJack is a total cutie pie.

gnine and I decided divorce was unlikely, because unless Jack has more skeletons in his closet we haven't heard anything of, the most likely thing to drive them apart would be his devotion to his job, and it's not like she didn't know about that going into it. But who knows! I'm only batting about 50% when it comes to predicting anything with the show ^^;;

I'd love raft h/c, but one of the problems I've been having with about the last half-season of Lost is that they keep shuffling the groupings of characters, so every time I start grooving on a character relationship, they go off their separate ways never to speak to each other again. I'm terribly bummed, for example, that Sawyer is all shot up and Sayid and Jack are both on the other side of the damn island.

I'm so pathetic. ~_^

So even though I think Jin/Sawyer or Jin/Michael h/c would be the cutest thing ever, I'm afraid that if I start liking it too much, they're going to get separated and next thing you know it'll be Sawyer and Charlie stuck down a well and Jin hanging out with Shannon, or something like that.

I have quite a few issues with Lost, and the char shuffling is one of them. (and in general the unfulfilled friendship potential, there's been some nice moments but there could be moooore...lots of hurt, somewhat less on the "c" ^^;) Just when they'd really gotten me into the Jack-Sawyer relationship, too! Though with the show likely to continue for a good long time, I have hope they'll revisit all relationships eventually...(I still want more Sayid/Sawyer, dangit. There was really only a little at the beginning, but...)
