Haven't commented on SV because, well, whatever. It was what I expected. As is Avatar in the total other direction (awwwwesome!)

Concerning Numb3r's premiere:

Just for the record? As far as I'm concerned, David/Colby is now canon. HOMG. And Alan knows.

Great ep all around, tense as anything and awesome interaction between all the chars (the return of Megan/Larry ftw!) and ohhhh Don falling apart in a Don-like way and Charlie being there and oh oh oh.

All that when really, it could've satisfied me just with those interrogation drugs and the CPR. Yep, CPR is all I need. ...and interrogations. Plz to be signing up for therapy nows.

I know... wasn't Numbers lovely last night.

Actually, and totally shallowly, I was really digging all the beards last night. Colby, Charlie, Alan - they all looked really good.

I loved that they're letting Don get more of the math now - I thinks some lovely character growth. And the whole friendship matrix thing was soooo cute.

True, but it seems like he's more willing to talk about what's bothering him at least with Charlie so that was nice.

Maybe my favorite premiere thus far! It's odd, I don't exactly fan on Numb3ers, don't read fic for it or anything (maybe I would if anyone were writing me David/Colby. Grr!) but it's always so consistently enjoyable...this ep really pulled the stops out, though.

And the way Don's been evolving, grasping the math and also relying on Charlie for not only that but the emotional support...lovely!!

The scruffiness, I suspect, is just because most actors opt out of shaving in the summer, on vacation y'know! Or just trying a new thing...

I'm thinking that David & Colby will need a few eps to work things out and settle back into their partnership. I hope it doesn't get resolved too quickly, but I do want it resolved, so...oh well, the show so far has done a great job, I'm not gonna doubt them yet!

I think my main feeling was relief -- because last year's season ender was my favorite episode and I knew I was never, eever going to be able to watch it again. So I feel like I got that episode back. And David/Colby is sooooooooo canon (lol). I loved Judd Hirsh talking to him, it's like he's the dad to the whole unit.

And Chrlie's slightly scruffier look (okay, time to stop drooling -- but he's got the best puppy dog eyes on TV!) And Larry saying "I have to find a new monestary!"

Okay just babbling now -- but that had to be one of the most satisfying endings to an arc since Rurouni Kenshin.

And did I mention Charlie's slightly scruffier look?

Last year's finale was awesome if so emotionally wrenching! I think I'll enjoy it more knowing it all works out okay...(though some of the impact was because I didn't know, had no idea what was going to happen, so was so very shocked!)

Alan talking to David was so great, the thing about "It's you and Colby," because yep, he's so all their dad, and he knows all his boys so well (Alan & David have this wonderful little-seen relationship, you get the feeling David's in need of a father figure. He's not that old...) And loved too how they were all calling him "Colby" still except David was mostly calling him "Granger" and awww...I hope they can work their issues out!

And eeee to Charlie, I wasn't sure how I felt about the scruff at first, but it does bring out his eyes, and oh! his eyes. Don was looking mighty fine, too...ah, gotta love the Eppes!

Darn it, I really need to catch up on Numb3rs! We're already half-through with the third season in our local cable, and I still haven't watched the season finale of Season 2 and beyond. *facepalms* DVDs of it can be hard to come by here too. *sighs* Will have to resort to mad downloading.

I, for one, did not expect the return of Clex in Bizarro! I'm pretty optimistic of Clark's emotional maturity now that Lana is away. Everyone's immediate reactions to Lana's "death" seem to indicate a possible reference to your "As Moths" fic, because no one seems to be grieving right. I hope Lana likes China enough to stay! :D

3rd season Numb3rs did some things I liked and some things I didn't like as much, but I still find it a solid show, consistently entertaining. And the finale/premiere are mad good TV.

The Bizarro Clex did give me some hope for the season, I admit, but I have a problem that by this point, Lex is the only character I really give a fig about, and even him I'm wavering. I did think that most of them made more sense if they were going through Lana-mutant-love withdrawal! (heh, I came this close to writing a crack-fic about Clark helping Lex through that detox...)

In my not-so-expert opinion, woobie!Lex is just going through severe depression. He's srysly not in his right mind wrt turning himself in for a non-existent crime.
