Dang GetBackers plot bunnies. They're everywhere. And these aren't normal plotbunnies. Oh no. I'm used to angst-bunnies, with their sleek black fur and gleaming dark eyes, waiting to pounce and drag you to shadowy warehouses and hospital rooms so you can inflict pain on innocent characters. I'm used to patting them nicely on the head and choosing the best of the litter to raise into full-grown stories.

But the BanGin bunnies? Are fluffy white angora lops with huge brown and blue eyes, short little bundles of adorable squish, and they're all begging to be picked up and cuddled. I'm not a writer of sap. Usually. These, I don't know how to resist. And more just keep appearing. I think they're breeding in the 360's trunk.

This one's for [livejournal.com profile] wenlet, who when I begged her for a bit of teh cute, requested in return a story with the infamous pajamas on the cover of manga v.20. Examining said cover, my sis and I agreed that Ginji's happy happy joy joy expression can only mean "I'm getting SEX tonight!"

Hmm. Discounting the deathfic, this is the first true shounen ai I've written for GetBackers...

*chuckle* Awww...that was cute, and very nicely descriptive. And somehow more "sexy" than your usual brand of fluff, methinks (NOT complaining either way.) You know, I'm glad Ban wasn't *too* drunk or the next morning might have been...hell, yeah. As for "masculine pride"...*snrk!* Every time someone mentions "shounen manga" I can't help but think of *those* manga covers... PS ...I do have a BIG stuffed alligator on my bed! ...btw, did you see that *other* pillow? O.o PPS. I wonder if it's true, the story about Japanese people lacking the alcohol gene or something which makes them get drunk faster...although I do think Europeans get flustered too!

hee! well, it IS shounen...they just stick an "ai" at the end of it *snrk* Haven't written much true yaoi for GB, but might do more...love the cute but sometimes I'm in the mood for 'the sexy'. ^^

And 'cuz you asked - about half of certain Asian populations, including the Japanese, have a mutation that causes a deficiency in an enzyme that breaks down alcohol. Those with the mutation are more sensitive to alcohol, experiencing the so-called 'Asian flush' and other negative reactions. Non-Asians can also have this mutation, but it's less common. [/end science lesson] ^_^

That's why I call it shounen AInime...

*dork*

Ah, yes, the enzyme! ...I really don't know why, but I remember we were talking about it in Japanese class...
