fic: slash, crack, there's a difference?

To make up for my last Psych fic, this one isn't depressing. Crack-y, more like. In my defense it seemed like a good idea at the time, which was very early in the A.M. (it usually is.)

As I said before, I'm all about the gen in this fandom. But this...might be slash. Or maybe it isn't. You'll have to ask Gus. No slashers were harmed in the making of this story, and any resemblance to any real persons or fictional stories is entirely coincidental. --Really; I haven't read much in the way of Psych-slash at all.

...Unlike Gus. Much to his chagrin.

I saw that your other Psych story had the double "D" label - death and depressing - so I've given it a pass (for now. You're a good enough writer that sooner or later I'll no doubt give it a look.)

I knew as soon as I read the first scene that I'd picked the right story for this evening. Too funny! There's still a big smile on my face as I type this. You've brought back fond memories of a MediaWest Con panel that I attended on slash. Part of the discussion was regarding the physically uncomfortable or downright impossible sex scenes in some of the fanfic stories.

Anyway, a bored Shawn is a dangerous thing. He absolutely would delight in his new-found discovery of slash as a means of torturing Gus.

(Yeah, I've been told "Whisper" isn't as depressing as it could be, but then other people say it makes them cry...to be honest I can't stand reading deathfic myself (why do I WRITE them? I don't know!), so I totally understand you giving that one a pass for now!)

But I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I'm a big fan of slash but I like to laugh at my own obsessions sometimes, and there is a lot of silliness in slash fandom. And Shawn torturing Gus will always be fun ^^
